Ramp up your sales with Meraki Voyage
If your primary target audience is the small and midsize business market, you’re probably aware of Cisco Meraki, and maybe you’ve even sold a few Meraki access points or routers. Perhaps you wonder what other complementary solutions and services you could be offering your customers, but you’ve found the Cisco technology ecosystem too daunting to navigate. Ingram Micro has a simple solution—the Meraki Voyage program.

Meraki Voyage partner enablement and milestones

The Meraki Voyage program is composed of three phases:
  1. Set itinerary. The first phase entails enrolling in the Meraki Voyage program, which is a short process, and there’s no fee. Once enrolled you’ll receive a partner welcome call along with details about becoming a registered Cisco partner if you’re not yet registered. From there, members of your sales and technical team will attend one of the following webinars, which lasts about an hour: “Meraki 101 Product Portfolio” or “Meraki 101 Lab.” After completing this phase, partners will receive a free Meraki product.

  2. Boarding. After completing phase 1, participants will learn to navigate the Cisco Commerce Workspace and enroll in applicable incentive programs, such as Seller Rewards, MIP (Meraki Incentive Program) or NFR (not for resale). In phase 2, partners will also be encouraged to attend the “Meraki 201: Best Practices & How to Demo Training,” which will cover how Meraki plays into different verticals as well as education about how to best demo Meraki to customers. Partners will also have the option to attend an MSP Trail Map training. After completing the Boarding phase, partners will receive a free customized Meraki partner planning session.
  1. Bon voyage. In phase 3, partners will complete Express Specialization training—SMB Express or Express Enterprise Networking (EN)—followed by taking the Express Specialization exam (Ingram Micro funded) and enrolling in additional applicable incentive programs, such as VIP and OIP.

Near the end of phase 3, partners will be encouraged to place a “See, Try & Buy” order and complete Umbrella training, which complements Meraki by blocking malicious destinations even before a connection is made. After completing the last phase, partners will have the opportunity to be entered into an incentive to win enrollment into the Ingram Micro Marketing Academy.
