Tutorial: Webex Far End Camera Control explained
Matthew White, sr. solution center technical engineer at Ingram Micro, shows how the Webex Far End Camera Control (FECC) works and why you’d want to use it.
FECC is a feature that’s available between two Webex endpoints (e.g., the Webex Desk Pro and Room Kit Plus), and gives a user the ability to control the camera on the other end of the call.
For example, let’s say a dermatologist is on a Webex Meeting with a patient, and the patient wants to show the doctor a mole, which requires a closer look. Using the FECC, the dermatologist could take over the patient’s camera and zoom in on the area in question.
