Meraki Mondays episode 14: What Windows 11 means for the network
In this episode of the Meraki Mondays show, Dan Stewart, Business Transformation Center (BTC) engineer, and Bobby Young, technology consultant, Ingram Micro, explore Microsoft’s recent Windows 11 announcement, including the new OS’s higher CPU demands and how this may impact Meraki sales.

Because of security processes that run in the background, how the chips are made and what’s in the firmware, Microsoft says that only computers using eighth generation processors and above will be able to run the new OS.

Stewart and Young show how this announcement opens the door to Wi-Fi 6 conversations, which can lead to Meraki access point (e.g., MR36/46/56) and network switch sales opportunities.
