Working better with Samsung and how their technology solutions set them apart

The mobile workforce needs thinner, secure, agile devices to succeed in the workforce of today.

From always-on tech to the latest pre-installed processors, Samsung is here to deliver.

Shelby Skrhak speaks with Jason Ross, B2B Mobile Training and Sales Enablement at Samsung, about:

●      Why we need an always-on device for businesses

●      How a reseller knows what a business needs from its mobile technology

●      How Samsung addresses security concerns

Why we need an always-on device for businesses

Most people that own a smartphone or laptop probably take this feature for granted: always-on technology. The ability to turn on your device and within moments it is up and running—ready to serve you any information you need with just a browser search.

Mostly a minor inconvenience on a personal device, this feature shines professionally in situations where patient or client data is needed at a moment’s notice.

Think of the last time you walked into an office and had to wait more than a few seconds for your information to be pulled up on a computer; dismissing human error, it’s not often, right?

“Having that right at the fingertips, always-on, awake from sleep, to be able to get the information when they need it, how they need it, to make the best experience for their customers is exactly what Samsung wants to do,” Jason says.

How a reseller knows what a business needs from its mobile technology

Most organizations need to recognize the limitations of the technology they’re using and choose which device is best for the job. Samsung devices, according to Jason, can be an appropriate fit for any organization. The reason: they’ve preemptively prepared for the hybrid workforce.

Each of these devices can be used across any organization:

  • Clamshell Galaxy
  • BookGalaxy Book 2
  • ProGalaxy Book 2 360
  • Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360

“Think about how your workforce is agile. Think about your workforce that needs to be mobile; they're moving from maybe desk to desk inside the same building,” Jason points out.

How Samsung addresses security concerns

As remote and hybrid work continues to grow, organizations are answering the call for agile devices. But where there’s devices, there’s threats to security.

One of Jason’s favorite Samsung offerings is the wide range of security measures they take to keep their devices and customers safe.

By privately sharing files with a timer, built-in fingerprint sensors and security cameras that take pictures of anyone trying to access your computer, Samsung addresses threats from every angle.

“There are multiple ways where security is at the forefront of what Samsung is doing with our Galaxy Book 2 devices,” Jason says.
